THIS LIGHTER IS HARD TO FILL SMELLS OF FUEL IS HARD TO LIGHT IN WIND,OLD ZIPPO’S ARE BEST

I bought this item approx in Oct. 2007. I was always impressed by zippo lighters, and this is the first time I spent this much on a lighter in my life. I figured spending this much on a lighter that it would be a well worth purchase and would enjoy many years to come, but to my surprise I have had bic lighters and other cheap ones that were better then this one is. The top on it when you flip it up does not have much of a spring on it and keeps opening when your try to put it in your pocket. The butane in it does not last more then a couple of days. It holds the flint, but after a couple of days it starts becoming harder to light. you go from one try to 4,5,6 and more to get it to light. You have to press down on it harder and harder so much that I have never in my life had a sore thumb, but I am actually getting a calis on my thumb from this lighter so I am definately not happy with it, and I won’t ever spend this much money on a lighter again.
